A2 hosting does offer a very lucrative refund policy or as they say, no question asked anytime money back guarantee. If you claim refund within first 30 days, you get full refund otherwise adjusted refund. You can claim refund anytime.
This is the most lucrative feature. It gives you a complete sense of relief that you can try the web host and later get refunded if things do not work out well, anytime you like. All the major competitors offer either a 30 days or 45 days money back guarantee, but this is completely different.
It says anytime you can ask for refund, looks very nice, but is it really so. We decided to dig a bit further into this and check it ourselves. It is so that you can close your account and claim your refund anytime but as expected, there are a number of things to keep in mind.
The most important clause in Anytime Money Back Guarantee is that,
“If a request is submitted online for immediate cancellation within the first 30 days, a full refund will be issued. Customers who desire a refund on a prepaid account after 30-days will be re-billed at the regular price as opposed to any discounted price from the use of a coupon. Only the difference between the prepaid amount and the re-billed regular price will be refunded.“
In simple terms, if you cancel in the first 30 days you will receive a full refund otherwise, you will be re-billed on full amount and then you will get the balance.
So technically, you have 30 days to decide from the date of payment if you want to go ahead with the A2 Hosting account. If you take too much time on deciding, after re-billing there might be no amount left for refund.

Steps to Cancel Your A2 Hosting Account
Cancelling your a2 hosting account or service and getting refund is very simple. You can cancel account do it in just 4 clicks, select mode of refund and that is all you need to do.
By following these simple steps, you will be able to cancel your A2 Hosting Account.
Step 1 – Click on My Services Tab
Go to your hosting dashboard and hover over the services tab in the menu bar. Click on the “My Services” option. You will be able to see all your active subscriptions.
Step 2 – Click on Manage Button
Go to the subscription or hosting plan that you wish to cancel. Click on the “Manage” button right next to that subscription or plan. This will take you to the page where you can see all the details of the selected plan.
Step 3 – Click on Request Cancellation under Actions Tab
Once decided, click on the “Request Cancellation” button under the “Actions” tab. This will direct you to account cancellation request page.
Step 4 – Click on Request Cancellation to Cancel Service
All you need to do on this page is to give a reason for your cancellation and select the cancellation type.
Cancellation type has two options, immediate and at the end of billing period. You can choose the option that you like.
After that click on the “Request Cancellation” button and your cancellation request will be processed.
Step 5 – Cancellation Approval Message
You will be redirected to a confirmation page and will receive an email of the same.
Usually the time to process the request is between 1 to 3 days. During this period you can reinstate your account if you want to.
After that you will receive an email stating the refund details and the amount. You can still reach the customer service in case of any discrepancies.
In the refund policy there is no mention of when will the amount be refunded to you but from our research we know that it might take up to 5 days.
It is quiet long as compared to the competitors.
